Before forming MTT Nick was a founding Partner of the City practice at
Odgers Ray & Berndtson (now Odgers Berndtson), where from 2004 to 2009 he
was responsible for asset and structured finance related mandates whilst
managing other sector teams
He joined Odgers following 5 years at the German executive search firm Hillreiner
Consulting GmbH for whom he set up and ran the UK business. Originally trained in
management consultancy, he has worked in executive search since 1994, specialising
in structured asset finance since 2000.
Nick formed MTT Executive Ltd in 2009.
Chris was the Managing Partner of the City office of Odgers Ray & Berndtson from
2004 to 2009 (now Odgers Berndtson), the leading multi-sector UK search provider
and one of the largest global search firms. Chris covered mandates in all areas
of capital markets and investment banking.
Prior to his career in executive search, Chris was a bond dealer for 20 years
trading both fixed and floating bonds in a number of different sectors and currencies.
For the majority of that time he worked at Citicorp International Bank and Morgan
Stanley International in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York City.
In 2009 Chris started his own search and advisory firm (CLS Search Ltd) before
merging it with MTT Convexity in 2011.
Rupert has worked in the financial markets for over 25 years. After 2 years training
at Citicorp Investment bank, Rupert joined Morgan Stanley where he spent the next 16
years with a variety of responsibilities in the Interest rate, Credit and Derivative
markets. From 1995 he was in the High Yield and Emerging markets where he was
responsible for Sales and Syndication.
He joined Standard Bank in 2004 as Global head of Sales and Structuring for the Markets
Division. From 2007 he was responsible for all Distribution of the Standard Bank Group,
taking over responsibility for Investment Banking Coverage of Investors Globally in 2009.
Rupert formed African Alpha Investment Partners in 2011 to unlock the value in emerging
Africa by investing across the continent both directly and via a multi-manager platform.
He works with MTT Convexity Ltd in an advisory capacity.
James joined MTT Convexity in November 2011, having started his executive search career
in January 2000 transacting Global Markets mandates in London, Frankfurt and Tokyo.
He joined Napier Scott Executive Search in 2002 before moving to Odgers Ray & Berndtson
(now Odgers Berndtson) in January 2005.
From 2005 to 2009 he was a consultant in the Financial Services Practice at Odgers,
one of the largest global search firms, later joining Edge Search,
a boutique Global Markets search firm, prior to his arrival at MTT Convexity.
David joined MTT Convexity in January 2013 and has been involved in the executive
search business since 1997. Since 2000 his focus has been on the global quantitative
analytics and exotics trading markets, and he has successfully completed mandates,
ranging in seniority from VP to MD level, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America
After starting his career with SCI International, David has worked for some of the
most recognised names in the headhunting industry and prior to joining MTT Convexity ran his
own search company for 8 years.
Sean joined MTT Convexity Ltd in 2013 having specialised in Fixed Income & Foreign
Exchange executive search since 1996. During this time he has been responsible for
search mandates across Financial Markets Solution Sales , Structuring , Risk
Advisory & Financing , Trading and Asset & Liability Management.
Prior to joining MTT Sean was Co-Head of Financial Markets at Hanover Search and
Head of the Fixed Income & Foreign Exchange practice at International Search Ltd.
He was previously a Director, Capital Markets Search at the Rochester Partnership.
Elvira joined MTT in February 2014 from Paul Mandel Partners in London. She joined the executive search industry in 2011, having spent three years as a Broker on Equity Derivatives (Index Delta One products) at GFI, and previously as a Business Manager in HSBC's Equity Derivatives desk in Paris.
Elvira manages mandates across all asset classes on Sales, Trading and Business Management throughout Europe including EM. She is fluent in French and Russian.
